Abstract
Silver nanoparticles were prepared by chemical method by using sodium borohydride as reducing agent. The method used is very simple and efficient as compared the other methods. The synthesized particles were characterized by using UV and x ray diffraction study. The synthesized silver nano particles were used for the study of reduction of 4-Nitro phenol. These silver particles worked as excellent catalyst for reduction of 4-Nitro phenol.
Keywords
