Abstract
Supersymmetry (SUSY) is a symmetry which got its foundation in Haag–Łopuszański–Sohnius theorem. SUSY has shown to have significant potential in solving many theoretical questions in physics and became extremely popular in the theoretical High Energy Physics community. Despite such promises, it has failed to produce any experimental proof yet. This leads to the current recession in research in this direction. This chapter is a review of the journey of Supersymmetry from its rise to pause.
Keywords
Supersymmetry, Spontaneous Symmetry Breaking, MSSM
